5th Ave Mile
On a great fall day, people participated in the annual 5th Ave. Mile Millrose was well represented.
In the open division Thomas Buffolano was the first to cross in a time of 5:00. Next was Michael Meliarenne with a time of 6:24. Other participants included Robert Sutton (6:33), John Frankfurt (6:47), Bonnie Dietrich (7:20), Michael Frankfurt (7:50), and Eugene Guthrie (9:37).
In the George Sheehan Memorial Mile 60-69 Aflred Finger with 8th overall with a time of 6:03. Carol Johnston who was the second woman to finish in a time of 7:09, and Joan Bondell was the fourth female to finish with a time of 7:50.
In the George Sheehan Memorial Mile 70+ William Fortune was third overall with a time of 6:42. John McManus was 6th overall in a time of 7:41, Sab Koide was 8th overall with a time of 8:08. Rounding out the list were Vincent J Carnevale (15:11) and Arlene Eneman (16:01).
