Staten Island Half Marathon
On a great fall day, people participated in the Staten Island Half Marathon. Millrose was well represented.
On the men's side William Schaff was the first to cross in a time of 1:28:16. Next was Moses Sawney with a time of 1:29:44. Other particpants included Alfred Finger who was first in his age group (65-69) in a time of 1:36:51, Stephen Gifford (1:40:36), Jerry Stolls (2:09:50) and Liam R. Malanaphy (2:12:53).
On the women's side Carol Johnston who was second in her age group (60-64) was the first to cross in a time of 1:55:52. Next was Jillian Lazaridis with a time of 2:02:32. Other participants included Jill Biddington (2:02:00) and Stephanie Dorsey (2:07:42).
