Not Quite the NYC Marathon 5K:

On a crisp fall day, about 4,000 runners headed to Central Park for the Not Quite the NYC marathon 5K. The team was well represented in the final tune up race before the marathon. The first millrose man to cross the line was Heriberto Medina with a time of 18:36. Fernando Castillo, was the next member to cross with a time of 19:06. The next millrose man to cross was David Toberisky, in a time of 20:28, with Paul Grange shortly behind him with a time of 20:44. Kenneth Jones won his age group (70-74) with a time of 21:14. He was followed by David Frankfurt with a time of 22:45, with Michael Frankfurt following in a time of 25:21. Paul Kaplan crossed in a time of 25:14, and Brian Adler finished in a time of 25:49. Sab Koide won his age group (75-79) in a time of 26:40, and he was followed by Wallace Cutler who came in second in the same age group with a time of 40:10. Other memebers include Jerry Stolls (26:42), Al Puma (30:50), Eugine Guthrie (39:48), and Vincent Carnevale finished second in his age group (85-89) in a time of 46:34.

On the women's side, the first Millrose woman to cross was Lisa Donlan in a time of 26:46, she was followed by Michelle Santomassino with a time of 21:10. Jacqueline Seltzer came in third in her age group (50-54) in a time of 21:52. Joan Bondell came in second in her age group (60-64) with a time of 26:16. Other women who finished were Sharon Garfunkel in a time of 28:25, Bonnie Dietrich with a time of 28:50, Naomi Vogel came in third in her age group (65-69) in a time of 28:12, and Pamela Guthrie finished in a time of 44:02.
