Chicken Soup 10/19.6K:
For those of you that stayed in bed yesterday morning.....you had the right idea! The Chicken Soup 10K and 19.6K was turned in to a fun run due to the snow. However, some die harders showed up.......Carol Gellman, Ed Walsh, Marilyn Greeley & Mike Frankfurt (running the opposite way.....he was attacked by the Master Chicken and retreated to the west side of the park ) All awards, money and Y membership went to the Master Chicken.
Alumni 10K:
Millrose needs a yearbook! At the starting line-up at the Alumni 10K
yesterday, a TV newsman approached me (wearing a Millrose singlet) and said "Millrose University! What year did you graduate?" Congrats to Barry King, a
new Millrose member, who won his first trophy, coming in third. Other Millrose winners-Bill Fortune, Edith Jones and myself, who all came in first
place. Other Alumni runners were Mike and David Frankfurt, Steve Gifford, Sully Sullivan.
