Salsa Blues 5K, March 4, 2007
On a cool sunday morning people headed to Washington Heights for the
annual Salso Blues 5K and Millrose was well represented.
On the men's side Patrick Gaughan who was third
in his age group (50-54) was the first to cross in a time of 19:09.
Next was Norbert Sander with a time of 24:33. Other participants
included
David Frankfurt (26:12), Neil Cook (28:26), Michael Frankfurt (30:53),
Sab Koide who was first
in his age group (80-84) in a time of 31:49, and Richard Shaffer who
was second in his age group (75-79) with a time of 38:18.
On the women's side Christine Tunick was the
first to cross in a time of 21:54. Next was Kerry Monahan with a time
of 23:21. Other participants included
Naomi Vogel who was first in her age group (65-69) with a time of
32:27, and Esther Light who was first in her age group (40-49) in a
time of 32:42.
