  Coogan's Salsa Blues 5K, March 6, 2005
On a cool sunday morning people headed to Washington Heights for the annual Salso Blues 5K and Millrose was well represented.
On the men's side William Schaaf was the first to cross in a time of 18:30. Next was Nicholas Tunick with a time of 21:17. Other participants included David Frankfurt (25:06), Michael Meliarenne (25:27), Michael Frankfurt (28:12), Sab Koide who was first in his age group (80-84) in a time of 30:42, Jerry Stolls (30:51),
John McManus who was second in his age group (80-84) with a time of 33:18, and John Garlepp (30:37).
On the women's side Lisa Donlan was the first to cross in a time of 23:13. Next was Ann Makoske who was first in her age group (55-59) with a time of 23:31. Other participants included Sharon Ducker (23:25), Marjorie Holt (25:15), Bridget Sander (27:12), Naomi Vogel who was second in her age group (65-69) with a time of 30:10,
Barbara Saldick (28:47), Carol Asch (30:47), Bonnie Dietrich (34:44), and Arlene Eneman who was third in her age group (70-74) in a time of 46:53.
