Race to Deliver
On a warm November day, 6,000 runners turned out for the 8th annual race to deliver. The Millrose team was well represented. Heriberto Medina was the first man to cross the line in a time of 25:04. Dariusz Luniewski came in third in his age group (50-54) in a time of 26:18 (offical time) . David Toberisky was the next to cross the line with a time of 26:18 (chip time). Other members included William Hart (28:02), David Frankfurt (29:15), James Fillis (29:45), Neil Cook (31:32), Michael Frankfurt (32:33), Leonard Lieberman (33:12), Jerry Stolls (34:57), Sab Koide came in first in his age group (75-79) in a time of 35:55, Richard Shaffer (42:09), and Eugene Guthrie (50:08).
On the women's side, Lisa Donlan was the first Millrose woman to cross in a time of 27:38. Other participants included Joan Bondell who came in second in her age group (60-64) with a time of 34:06, Mary Spera (35:54), Bonnie Dietrich (37:33), Naomi Vogel who came in first in her age group (65-69) in a time of 37:54, and Pamela Guthrie (57:17).
