Spring Fling 4-Miler
On a cold St. Patty's Day, over 3,000 runners head to Central Park for the Spring Fling 4 miler. Millrose was well represented.
On the men's side Heriberto Medina was the first to cross in a time of 26:12. Next to cross was David Frankfurt with a time of 28:47. Other participants included Robert Barocci (30:16), Joseph Burns who was second in his age group (70-74) in a time of 32:26, Michael Frankfurt (33:30), Alpha Nickelberry (33:31), Sab Koide who was first in his age group (75-79) with a time of 35:55, Norman Zinker (38:10), Jerry Stolls (39:12), Albert Puma (44:05), and Eugene Guthrie (49:47).
On the women's side Mary Moloney was the first to cross in a time of 28:17. Next was Marjorie Holt with a time of 30:04. Other participants included Julie Davidson (33:05), Joan Bondell who was first in her age group (60-64) in a time of 35:15, Naomi Vogel who was second in her age group (65-69) with a time of 37:25, Bonnie Dietrich (36:56), and Pamela Guthrie (58:51).
