Gridiron 5K February 01, 2004

On superbowl sunday people headed out for the Gridiron 5K. Millrose was well represented.

On the men's side Mark Heller was the first to cross in a time of 18:01. Next was Michael Frankfurt with a time of 27:44. Other participants included Jerry Stolls (28:17), Sab Koide who was first in his age group (80-84) in a time of 29:09, John McManus who was second in his age group (80-84) with a time of 30:56, William Stein (31:52), Richard Shaffer (35:57) and Neil Cook (36:55).

On the women's side Ann Makoske who was first in her age group (55-59) was the first to cross in a time of 23:27. Next was Laurie Baker who was first in her age group (60-64) with a time of 25:59. Other participants included Esther Light (25:50), Joan Bondell who was third in her age group (65-69) in a time of 28:06, and Namoi Vogel (30:54).
