Spring Marathon Kickoff, October 26, 2008
On a cool sunday morning, people headed to
Central
Park for the kickoff event for Marathon Week and Millrose
was well represented.
On the men's side David Toberisky was the first
to cross in a time of 34:09. Next was John Frankfurt with a time of
34:48. Other participants included Guido Aren (35:12), Merritt Knox
(35:14), Alfred Finger who was second in his age group (70-74) in a
time of 37:02, Robert Sutton (38:03)
Bart Hopkins (38:14), Stephen Gardner (38:33), Andrew Udis (40:02),
David Frankfurt (40:33), Michael Frankfurt (52:50), Jerry Stolls
(55:29), William Stein (1:02:01),
Jack Cohn (1:02:01), Sab Koide (1:08:13), and Eugene Gutherie (1:13:16)
On the women's side Lisa Stone was the first to
cross in a time of (42:31). Next was Sharon Garfunkel with a time of
45:05.
Other participants included Bonnie Dietrich (49:24), Noreen McManus
(51:11), and Jillian Lazaridis (52:34).
