Fred Lebow 5 Miler

On a cool winter morning, people headed out for the first race of the 2002 season. The Millrose team was well represented.

On the men's side, Mark Heller was the first to cross in a time of 29:34. Next was Kenny Rosenberg with a time of 31:41. Also competing were Alan Dule (31:54), Alfred Finger, who was first in his age group (65-59) with a time of 33:13, Stephen Gifford (35:07), Robert Barocci (35:46), Kenneth Jones who was also first in his age group (70-74) in a time of 35:51. Other finishers were David Frankfurt (37:08), Michael Frankfurt (42:50), Alpha Nickelberry (42:27), Sab Koide who was first in his age group (75-79) with a time of 44:50, Robert Kwit (44:45), Brian Adler (46:53), John McManus who was second in his age group (75-79) in a time of 49:04, Neil Cook (47:46), Norman Zinker (50:05), Bill Horowitz (55:02), Eugene Guthrie (1:06:09), and Wallace Cutler who was third in his age group (75-79) with a time of 1:10:40.

On the Women's side Mary Moloney was the first one to cross, and was third in her age group (45-49) in a time of 35:26. Marjorie Kos was the next to cross, and was second in her age group (55-59) with a time of 38:58. Other finishers were Laurie Baker (40:29), Barbara Saldick (41:09), Joan Bondell who was second in her age group (60-64) in a time of 44:58, Sharon Garfunkel (45:14), Mary Spera (46:51), Naomi Vogel, who was second in her age group (65-59) with a time of 46:21, Bonnie Dietrich (49:21), and Pamela Guthrie (1:13:00).
