  NYC Marathon, Novemeber 2, 2008
On a
perfect day for running, the 39th NYC Marathon took place and Millrose
was well represented. (note these are the offical times not net times)
On the
men's side Roy Fraser was the first to cross in a time of 3:18:14. Next
was Guido Aren with a time of 3:24:25.
Other participants included Claude Meliarenne (3:34:39), Merritt Knox
(3:38:44), Stephen Gifford (3:47:35), Andrew Udis (3:47:39), Bart
Hopkins (3:52:11),
Justin Fairley (3:55:32), Stephen Gardner (4:00:16), Dave Obelkevich
(4:03:42), Michael Meliarenne (4:31:42), David Sykes (5:44:05), Joseph
Puglisi (5:55:17),
Brian Adler (6:20:54), Eugene Gutherie (7:18:01), and Neil Cook
(8:11:11).
On the
women's side Susan Sykes was the first to cross in a time of 3:23:42.
Next was Lisa Stone with a time 3:35:20.
Other participants included Terry Sanders (3:53:32), Amy Bahrt
(4:01:01), Laurie Baker who was third in her age group (65-69) in a
time of 4:21:51,
Liz Bruder-Frudman (4:36:18), Jill Biddington (4:50:15), Ruth Liebowitz
(4:55:19), Jillian Lazaridis (5:09:42), and
Noreen McManus (6:02:35). |
