New York Mini Marathon:
In the hot, steamy, 84 degree temperatures, the Millrose Women (50+) blew away the rest of
the field, coming in first place in their age group. The team consisted of Carol Gellman, Marilyn Greeley-Walsh and Marjorie Kos. The 40+ women
also had a strong finish, coming in fourth. Leading the team was Sandra Powers, follwed by Carol Gellman and making a powerful comeback was Amy Bahrt.
Here are the trophy winners: Sandra Powers came in third in her age group (45-49), Carol Gellman came in third in her age group (50-54), Marilyn Greely-Walsh
came in first in her age group (55-59) and Marjorie Kos came in second in her age group (55-59). Great work.
