Niketown Run for the Parks

On a cool spring morning, over 4000 people showed up for the Niketown run for the parks. Millrose was well represented.

On the men's side David Frankfurt was the first to cross in a time of 28:52. Next was Kenneth Jones who was first in his age group (70-74) with a time of 30:02. Other participants included Alpha Nickelberry (30:18), Robert Kwit who was second in his age group (70-74) in a time of 32:31, Michael Frankfurt who was third in his age group (65-69) with a time of 33:34, Jerry Stolls (35:34), Sab Koide who was first in his age group (75-79) with a time of 35:42, Neil Cook (36:23), Richard Shaffer (40:17), Albert Puma (48:51), and Eugene Guthrie (50:43).

On the women's side Sharon Garfunkel was the first to cross in a time of 35:09. Next was Bonnie Dietrich with a time of (35:13). Other participants included Joan Bondell (36:07), Naomi Vogel who was second in her age group (65-69) in a time of 37:42, Roberta Warshawsky (51:56), and Pamela Guthrie (53:54).
