Not Quite the NYC Marathon 5-Miler

On a crisp, fall morning, people headed out for the last race before the NYC Marathon. Millrose was well represented. On the Men's side Dariusz Luniewski was the first to cross in a time of 33:05. Next was Joseph Burns who was first in his age group (70-74) with a time of 40:51. Other participants included Neil Cook (42:50), Robert Sutton (44:01), John McManus who was first in his age group (75-79) in a time of 44:06, Michael Frankfurt (44:37), Sab Koide who was second in his age group (75-79) with a time of 46:20, Jerry Stolls (47:15), Norman Zinker (48:25), Albert Puma (53:43), and Eugene Guthrie (1:00:25).

On the women's side, Sharon Garfunkel was the first to cross with a time of 43:17. Next was Bonnie Dietrich in a time of 44:27. Other participants included Naomi Vogel (47:30), and Pamela Guthrie (1:11:43).
