Queens Half

On a warm spring like day, people headed out to Queens for the half marathon. Millrose was well represented

On the men's side Kenny Rosenberg was the first to cross in a time of 1:33:44. Next was Liam Malanaphy with a time of 1:37:18. Other participants included Stephen Gifford (1:43:37), Domingo Nunez (1:45:52), Sab Koide who was first in his age group (75-79) in a time of 2:12:12, Jerry Stolls (2:21:19), and Eugine Gutherie (2:53:30).

On the women's side Marjorie Holt was the first to cross in a time of 1:51:49 (net time). Next was Marjorie Kos who was first in her age group (55-59) with a time of 1:51:36(net time). Other participants were Carol Johnston who was second in her age group (55-59) in a time of 1:58:15, and Naomi Vogel who was first in her age group (65-69) with a time of 2:28:23.

Skaggs Walsh 5K

There was also the annual 5k and millrose was once again well represented.

On the men's side David Frankfurt was the first to cross in a time of 22:05. Next was Michael Frankfurt who was second in his age group (65-69) with a time of 25:36. Other participants included Richard Schaffer who was second in his age group (70-74) in a time of 31:19.

On the women's side Marilyn Greeley Walsh was the first to cross and the first in her age group (55-59)with a time of 22:05. Next was Roberta Warshawsky who was first in her age group (65-69) in a time of 40:52, and she was followed by Arlene Eneman who was second in her age group (65-69) with a time of 41:19. Congrats to all!
