Salsa Blues 5K
On a rainy saturday morning people headed up to washington heights to run the annual Coogans Salsa Blues 5K. Millrose was well represented.
On the men's side Thomas Buffolano was the first to cross in a time of 18:33. Next was William Fortune who was first in his age group (70-74) with a time of 23:363. Other participants included David Frankfurt (24:10), Michael Frankfurt (26:39),
Joseph Burns who was third in his age group (70-74) in a time of 27:16, Sab Koide who was first in his age group (75-79) with a time of 28:55, Eugene Guthrie (35:37) and Norbert Sander (37:36).
On the women's side Lisa Donlan who was third in her age group (20-29) was the first to cross in a time of 22:35. Next was Jacqueline Seltzer who was second in her age group (40-44) with a time of 23:46. Other participants included Barbara Saldick (27:07)
and Naomi Vogel who was first in her age group (65-67) in a time of 30:28.
