National Masters Indoor Track & Field Championship:
This past weekend the ever-young John McManus clocked in a world record time of 6:42 for the mile in the 75-79 division.
Bill fortune left his competitiors in the dust by clockingg a 5:59 for the mile in his division(70-74). Also, speedsterAnn Makoske finished second in her division(50-54) for the mile in a time of 6:17.
Here are the results of the 800 meters: Ann Makoske 2:56 (placed first in her division), Joan Bondell 3:32 (placed third in her division(60-64)). Bill Fortune 2:50 (placed fourth in his division) and John McManus 2:54 (placed second in his division)
