V-Day Twosome
On a great day for running, couples headed to the park for the ILX Valentines Day Twosome. There were two races, a 2 miler and a 10K. Millrose was well represented in both
2 Miler
On the Men's side Alfred Finger was the first to cross in a time of 12:48. John McManus was the next to cross with a time of 16:25. Other participants includeded Brian Adler (21:06).
For the combined times and awards, Alfred Finger and his partner Ann Makoske came in first in thier age group (comb age 120-139) with a time of 26:57. Second in the age group was John McManus and his partner Margaret Casey in a time of 37:15. Other winners included Carol Gellman and her partner Nicholas Caswell, who came in first in thier age group (100-119) with a time of 25:24.

The award winners were Michael Frankfurt and his partner Laurie Baker came in first in their age group (120-139) in a time of 1:45:29. Coming in third in the same age group was Naomi Vogel and her partner Daniel Jacobs with a time of 1:51:58. Also Amy Bahrt and her partner Sandra Powers tied for first in their age group (100-119) with a time of 1:35:18.
