Cross Country Championships
On a cool fall day, people headed up to Van Cortland for the cross country championships, and Millrose was well represented.
On the Men's side Edward Burns was the first to cross in a time of 20:15. Next was Daniel Gonzalez with a time of 20:16. Other participants included
James Fillis who was second in his age group (65-69) in a time of 24:25, Jerry Stolls (29:09), Sab Koide who was first in his age group (75-79) with a time of 29:21,
Michael Frankfurt (29:26), and John McManus who was second in his age group (75-79) in a time of 31:06.
On the Women's Lisa Donlan was the first to cross in a time of 23:10. Next was Anna Lacina with a time of 23:43. Other participants included Mary Cody (26:23),
and Barbara Saldick who was third in her age group (50-54) in a time of 29:16.
