Spend less, take a trip more … right?! If you like to make your getaway travel dollar stretch, then like us, you may find yourself considering a trip bundle marketing offer. Know that these marketing vacation package companies are not at all equal.
After the let down of our current remain at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I simply got off the phone from attempting to schedule the remainder of our holiday package with them (some time in Florida). Let’s just say that will not be occurring. We are just going to eat the expense and forget about it.
From here on out, we will be booking trip packages through BookVIP. Here’s why …
Certainly, you have actually seen the Facebook sponsored posts. You will see that it is full of the most inexpensive vacation packages to some of the most popular destinations if you click over to their site. They have some seriously glamorous looking stays all over the world at some insane good rates.
Our first ever all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was amazing. Maybe the Dreams ruined us.
One fast note … We have just utilized BookVIP one time, at one luxury resort in Cancun. Logic tells me that not every resort getaway bundle is going to offer a similar experience. It actually is all going to boil down to the research you put in.
Is booking Very Important Person a timeshare?
They do not market the real name of the resorts. If you actually desire to sleuth out the location you will be remaining a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the pictures will expose the true identity of the home you are considering. There was plenty of information on the BookVIP site to help us feel comfortable with making our booking.
What we enjoy about booking with BookVIP? You are on your own schedule. No sales calls, no pressure. When you have done your research and you are all set, schedule. You will know what you are getting. If the dates you desire to take a trip are readily available, you know ahead of time. There is time to compare the dining establishments and features. This is a big contrast to the advertising vacation plan sales calls I will talk about in the next section.
When you are ready to make your appointment with BookVIP, just be gotten ready for a couple of extra resort charges and taxes. Our $599 for 5 days/4 nights at a Cancun all inclusive expense around $720 after whatever was stated and done. In our case, part of the added fee was to cover ideas for the resort personnel. After the experience we had, we found this to be well worth it.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Bookvip.Com Comments
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the very best. If this had been our first experience, we most likely would not have actually taken part in another advertising deal. It was that bad.
Are you on the calling lists? After our very first marketing resort stay, we started getting phone calls using vacation plans to different destinations. That is how we wound up with a holiday plan including our latest Cancun all inclusive plus a couple short remain in Florida and in other places.
These travel sales calls are always a high-pressure scenario unless you simply hang up. Say no enough times and they will keep dropping the rate to where it in fact seems like a bargain. It is required that you do so prior to the end of the phone call if they capture your interest and you decide to buy. There isn’t much time to look into the trip properties they are using. You might have a few seconds to rapidly bring up some images however that has to do with it. A photo deserves a thousand words, however not worth nearly as much as being able to read a couple of reviews.
They drew us in with a remain in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the distance to Belize) and a long time in Florida (hi, sailboat shopping!). So we shot and bought a plan. But using it, that is an entire different story.
Premier Travel Resorts does not make it simple to really utilize the trip time. There is a great deal of fine print that makes travel preparation really challenging and potentially a lot more expensive. They do not reveal these details during the sales call.
IF YOU BUY A HOLIDAY PLAN WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS, THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR …
You can only book your dates 45-90 days ahead of time. Okay, reasonable enough.
When you call to ask for your favored dates, they require you to fill out a long kind requiring all the info that they currently have. You then have to wait about a week to see if your dates are even available. Unless your travel plans will just consist of your remain at their resort, this makes planning the rest of your travel extremely troublesome.
Preparation budget friendly flights, or readily available Airbnb remains in combination with your Premier Travel Resorts vacation package is very challenging. In our case, the Airbnb we wished to remain at after our stay at the resort was scheduled by the time Premier Travel Resorts returned to us.
Our bundle consisted of a remain in Orlando and a stay in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts needs that those stays be back to back or 30 days apart. So, in our case, using them on either end of a business trip we had planned was not enabled.
We used the Cancun portion of our holiday package, however we won’t be using the rest of it.
THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
The room was filthy, the toilet was cracked, the lights flickered, and that is simply the start. You see, they put us up, not in one of the high-end residential or commercial properties that they wished to sell us on, but rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the men at the great property informed us they called it. Genuine.
The one dining establishment that was consisted of in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you overlook the air conditioner dripping into our food) was in fact a good experience. They changed up the menu every night, featuring foods from different parts of Mexico. And very prepared to help us with our Spanish.
Once over the shock of the difference in the kind of location we believed we would be remaining, we made the many of it. And picked up our rental vehicle a couple days early to go off and check out the area.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts require that you go to a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their discounted costs. No biggie. We seem like that is worth it.
Premier Travel Resorts, however, needs that you attend a promotional discussion throughout each stay. This is different from what we were informed when they offered us the bundle. A two-hour sales pitch when you are staying somewhere for only two nights is a substantial piece of time. They offered us 4 different stays, that means up to eight hours of reasonably high-pressure sales! No thanks.
OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY RANT
