Bookvip Give Away 2017 – Review 2022-3

Spend less, take a trip more … right?! If you like to make your holiday travel dollar stretch, then like us, you might find yourself considering a holiday package marketing offer. Know that these marketing getaway bundle business are not at all equivalent.

After the let down of our recent remain at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I just left the phone from attempting to reserve the remainder of our holiday plan with them (some time in Florida). Let’s simply say that will not be taking place. We are simply going to forget and eat the expense about it.

From here on out, we will be scheduling trip plans through BookVIP. If you click over to their website, you will see that it is complete of the cheapest trip bundles to some of the most popular locations.

Our very first ever all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was remarkable. Possibly the Dreams spoiled us.

One fast note … We have only used BookVIP one time, at one luxury resort in Cancun. Reasoning tells me that not every resort holiday package is going to offer a similar experience. It actually is all going to come down to the research study you put in.

Researching the properties provided on BookVIP can be a little an obstacle. They don’t market the actual name of the resorts. Instead, they utilize phony names. If you actually want to sleuth out the location you will be remaining a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the photos will reveal the real identity of the residential or commercial property you are thinking about. We didn’t trouble going that far. There was a lot of info on the BookVIP site to help us feel comfy with making our appointment.

You know ahead of time if the dates you desire to travel are offered. There is time to compare the features and dining establishments. This is a big contrast to the advertising vacation plan sales calls I will talk about in the next area.

When you are ready to make your reservation with BookVIP, just be prepared for a couple of extra resort fees and taxes. In our case, part of the additional charge was to cover suggestions for the resort staff.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Bookvip Give Away 2017
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the very best. If this had actually been our first experience, we most likely would not have participated in another marketing offer. It was that bad.

Are you on the calling lists? After our first marketing resort stay, we began getting call using getaway plans to numerous locations. That is how we wound up with a vacation plan including our latest Cancun all inclusive plus a couple short remain in Florida and elsewhere.

These travel sales calls are constantly a high-pressure circumstance unless you just hang up. State no sufficient times and they will keep dropping the cost to where it in fact sounds like an excellent offer. There isn’t much time to look into the trip homes they are offering.

They drew us in with a stay in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the proximity to Belize) and some time in Florida (hey there, sailboat shopping!). We pulled the trigger and purchased a plan. But using it, that is a whole various story.

Premier Travel Resorts does not make it simple to really utilize the getaway time. There is a great deal of fine print that makes travel preparation really difficult and possibly a lot more costly. They do not expose these details throughout the sales call.

IF YOU BUY A GETAWAY PLAN WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS, THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR …
You can only reserve your dates 45-90 days ahead of time. Okay, reasonable enough.

When you call to ask for your preferred dates, they require you to fill out a long type requiring all the details that they currently have. You then need to wait about a week to see if your dates are even readily available. Unless your itinerary will just consist of your stay at their resort, this makes planning the rest of your travel very troublesome.

Planning budget-friendly flights, or readily available Airbnb stays in combination with your Premier Travel Resorts holiday plan is really challenging. In our case, the Airbnb we wanted to remain at after our remain at the resort was booked by the time Premier Travel Resorts got back to us.

Our bundle consisted of a stay in Orlando and a remain in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts requires that those stays be back to back or 1 month apart. In our case, utilizing them on either end of a company trip we had prepared was not permitted.

We used the Cancun part of our getaway bundle, but we won’t be using the rest of it.

THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
You see, they put us up, not in one of the luxury homes that they wanted to offer us on, but rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the people at the nice residential or commercial property informed us they called it.

The one restaurant that was consisted of in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you overlook the air conditioner dripping into our food) was actually a nice experience. They changed up the menu every night, featuring foods from various parts of Mexico. And extremely willing to assist us with our Spanish.

Once over the shock of the difference in the sort of place we thought we would be staying, we maximized it. We satisfied some great individuals. Ate some excellent food. Took some good strolls on the golf course. And picked up our rental car a couple days early to go off and check out the area.

THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts require that you participate in a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their discounted rates. No biggie. We feel like that deserves it.

Premier Travel Resorts, nevertheless, requires that you participate in a promotional discussion during each stay. This is different from what we were told when they offered us the bundle. When you are remaining somewhere for just 2 nights is a huge chunk of time, a two-hour sales pitch. They offered us four different stays, that suggests approximately 8 hours of moderately high-pressure sales! No thanks.

OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY RANT
