Invest less, take a trip more … right?! If you like to make your getaway travel dollar stretch, then like us, you might find yourself considering a getaway package promotional deal. Know that these promotional holiday plan business are not at all equal.
After the pulled down of our recent stay at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I just got off the phone from attempting to schedule the remainder of our vacation bundle with them (a long time in Florida). Let’s simply state that will not be happening. We are simply going to forget and consume the expense about it.
From here on out, we will be reserving holiday packages through BookVIP. If you click over to their site, you will see that it is full of the most inexpensive holiday plans to some of the most popular destinations.
Our very first all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was amazing. Possibly the Dreams spoiled us. This place was off-hook. It was whatever we had wished for and after that some.
One fast note … We have only utilized BookVIP one time, at one luxury resort in Cancun. Reasoning informs me that not every resort vacation plan is going to provide a comparable experience. It really is all going to come down to the research you put in.
Is booking Very Important Person a timeshare?
They do not advertise the actual name of the resorts. If you actually want to sleuth out the place you will be staying a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the pictures will expose the true identity of the property you are considering. There was plenty of info on the BookVIP website to assist us feel comfortable with making our booking.
What we enjoy about booking with BookVIP? You are on your own schedule. No sales calls, no pressure. When you have done your research study and you are all set, reserve. You will understand what you are getting. If the dates you desire to take a trip are available, you understand ahead of time. There is time to compare the facilities and dining establishments. This is a big contrast to the marketing trip bundle sales calls I will talk about in the next section.
Just be prepared for a few additional resort costs and taxes when you are prepared to make your reservation with BookVIP. Our $599 for 5 days/4 nights at a Cancun all inclusive expense around $720 after whatever was stated and done. In our case, part of the surcharge was to cover suggestions for the resort staff. After the experience we had, we discovered this to be well worth it.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Bookvip Google Reviews
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the very best. If this had been our very first experience, we very likely would not have participated in another advertising deal. It was that bad.
Are you on the calling lists? After our very first marketing resort stay, we began getting telephone call providing vacation bundles to different locations. That is how we wound up with a trip package including our newest Cancun all inclusive plus a couple brief remain in Florida and elsewhere.
These travel sales calls are always a high-pressure scenario unless you simply hang up. Say no sufficient times and they will keep dropping the cost to where it actually sounds like a bargain. If they record your interest and you decide to acquire, it is needed that you do so before completion of the phone call. There isn’t much time to investigate the trip residential or commercial properties they are using. You may have a few seconds to quickly bring up some pictures but that is about it. A picture deserves a thousand words, however unworthy almost as much as having the ability to check out a couple of evaluations.
They drew us in with a stay in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the proximity to Belize) and some time in Florida (hey there, sailboat shopping!). So we pulled the trigger and purchased a bundle. Using it, that is a whole different story.
Premier Travel Resorts does not make it simple to really utilize the trip time. There is a great deal of fine print that makes travel preparation really challenging and possibly a lot more costly. They do not expose these details throughout the sales call.
IF YOU PURCHASE A VACATION BUNDLE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS, THIS IS WHAT YOU OUGHT TO BE PREPARED FOR …
You can only schedule your dates 45-90 days ahead of time. Okay, reasonable enough.
However, when you call to request your preferred dates, they need you to fill out a long form requiring all the information that they currently have. You then have to wait about a week to see if your dates are even available. Unless your travel plans will only consist of your remain at their resort, this makes planning the rest of your travel really troublesome.
Planning economical flights, or offered Airbnb stays in combination with your Premier Travel Resorts trip package is very hard. In our case, the Airbnb we wished to stay at after our stay at the resort was booked by the time Premier Travel Resorts returned to us.
Our plan included a remain in Orlando and a remain in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts requires that those stays be back to back or 30 days apart. So, in our case, using them on either end of a service trip we had actually prepared was not permitted.
We used the Cancun part of our trip package, however we won’t be utilizing the rest of it.
THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
The space was filthy, the toilet was broken, the lights flickered, and that is just the beginning. You see, they put us up, not in among the luxury residential or commercial properties that they wanted to sell us on, but rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the guys at the great property informed us they called it. For real.
Now, to be fair, Laguna Suites wasn’t all bad. The one restaurant that was included in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you overlook the a/c unit dripping into our food) was in fact a good experience. They changed up the menu every night, featuring foods from various parts of Mexico. And the staff was amazing. Really friendly and accommodating. And really willing to help us with our Spanish.
Once over the shock of the distinction in the kind of place we believed we would be staying, we maximized it. We satisfied some good individuals. Consumed some fantastic food. Took some great walks on the golf course. And got our rental vehicle a couple days early to go off and explore the location.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts need that you attend a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their reduced rates. No biggie. We feel like that deserves it.
Premier Travel Resorts, nevertheless, requires that you attend a promotional presentation during each stay. This is different from what we were told when they sold us the bundle. When you are remaining somewhere for only two nights is a big piece of time, a two-hour sales pitch. They offered us four various stays, that means up to eight hours of reasonably high-pressure sales! No thanks.
OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY TIRADE
