Bookvip Is A Scam – Review 2022-3

We are deal hunters. Invest less, take a trip more … right?!Bookvip Is A Scam… If you like to make your trip travel dollar stretch, then like us, you may find yourself considering a getaway bundle promotional deal. You should be prepared. Know that these promotional vacation plan companies are not at all equal.

After the let down of our recent remain at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I just got off the phone from trying to book the rest of our holiday plan with them (some time in Florida). Let’s just say that will not be occurring. We are simply going to forget and consume the expense about it.

From here on out, we will be reserving trip packages through BookVIP. If you click over to their site, you will see that it is complete of the most affordable vacation plans to some of the most popular destinations.

Our first ever all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was amazing. Possibly the Dreams spoiled us.

One fast note … We have actually just utilized BookVIP one time, at one high-end resort in Cancun. Logic informs me that not every resort vacation bundle is going to provide a similar experience. It actually is all going to boil down to the research study you put in.

They don’t advertise the actual name of the resorts. If you really desire to sleuth out the place you will be remaining a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the pictures will reveal the true identity of the property you are thinking about. There was plenty of information on the BookVIP website to help us feel comfy with making our appointment.

You understand ahead of time if the dates you want to travel are readily available. There is time to compare the restaurants and features. This is a huge contrast to the marketing getaway plan sales calls I will talk about in the next section.

When you are prepared to make your booking with BookVIP, simply be prepared for a few additional resort costs and taxes. In our case, part of the additional charge was to cover suggestions for the resort personnel.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Bookvip Is A Scam
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the very best. If this had been our first experience, we highly likely would not have participated in another marketing offer. It was that bad.

Are you on the calling lists? After our very first advertising resort stay, we started getting phone calls providing trip packages to numerous destinations. That is how we ended up with a getaway package including our newest Cancun all inclusive plus a couple short stays in Florida and elsewhere.

These travel sales calls are always a high-pressure circumstance unless you just hang up. Say no enough times and they will keep dropping the price to where it really seems like a bargain. If they catch your interest and you decide to acquire, it is required that you do so before the end of the call. There isn’t much time to research the holiday residential or commercial properties they are using. You may have a couple of seconds to rapidly bring up some images however that is about it. An image is worth a thousand words, however not worth almost as much as having the ability to check out a couple of evaluations.

They drew us in with a stay in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the distance to Belize) and a long time in Florida (hello, sailboat shopping!). So we pulled the trigger and bought a plan. Utilizing it, that is a whole different story.

Premier Travel Resorts does not make it easy to in fact use the vacation time. There is a lot of fine print that makes travel planning extremely tough and potentially a lot more pricey. They do not expose these information throughout the sales call.

THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO BE PREPARED FOR …
You can only just book dates 45-90 days ahead of time if YOU ACQUIRE A GETAWAY PACKAGE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS. Okay, reasonable enough.

Nevertheless, when you contact us to request your favored dates, they require you to submit a long type needing all the details that they already have. You then need to wait about a week to see if your dates are even offered. Unless your itinerary will just consist of your remain at their resort, this makes planning the rest of your travel extremely bothersome.

Preparation cost effective flights, or offered Airbnb stays in conjunction with your Premier Travel Resorts vacation plan is very difficult. In our case, the Airbnb we wanted to remain at after our remain at the resort was booked by the time Premier Travel Resorts returned to us.

Our plan consisted of a remain in Orlando and a stay in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts needs that those stays be back to back or thirty days apart. In our case, utilizing them on either end of a business trip we had planned was not permitted.

We used the Cancun part of our holiday bundle, but we won’t be using the rest of it.

THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
You see, they put us up, not in one of the luxury homes that they wanted to sell us on, but rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the men at the great home informed us they called it.

Now, to be fair, Laguna Suites wasn’t all bad. The one restaurant that was included in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you neglect the a/c leaking into our food) was really a nice experience. They changed up the menu every night, featuring foods from various parts of Mexico. And the staff was remarkable. Very friendly and accommodating. And extremely ready to assist us with our Spanish.

Twice the shock of the difference in the type of location we believed we would be staying, we took advantage of it. We fulfilled some nice individuals. Consumed some great food. Took some good walks on the golf course. And picked up our rental cars and truck a couple days early to go off and check out the area.

THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts require that you attend a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their discounted prices. No biggie. We feel like that deserves it.

Premier Travel Resorts, however, requires that you attend an advertising presentation throughout each stay. This is various from what we were told when they offered us the package.

OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY TIRADE
