Bookvip Lake Tahoe – Review 2022-3

We are bargain hunters. Spend less, take a trip more … right?!Bookvip Lake Tahoe… If you like to make your getaway travel dollar stretch, then like us, you may find yourself considering a trip bundle marketing deal. But you should be prepared. Know that these advertising getaway package companies are not equal.

After the let down of our recent remain at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I simply got off the phone from attempting to schedule the rest of our getaway package with them (some time in Florida). Let’s just say that will not be occurring. We are just going to forget and eat the cost about it.

From here on out, we will be booking trip packages through BookVIP. Here’s why …

Undoubtedly, you’ve seen the Facebook sponsored posts. If you click over to their site, you will see that it is full of the most affordable vacation bundles to a few of the most popular locations. They have some seriously luxurious looking stays all over the world at some insane excellent prices.

Our very first all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was remarkable. Maybe the Dreams spoiled us. This place was off-hook. It was everything we had actually expected and after that some.

One fast note … We have actually only utilized BookVIP one time, at one luxury resort in Cancun. Logic informs me that not every resort holiday bundle is going to supply a comparable experience. It actually is all going to boil down to the research you put in.

Looking into the properties provided on BookVIP can be a little a challenge. They don’t market the actual name of the resorts. Rather, they use fake names. However if you truly wish to sleuth out the place you will be staying a little investigative deal with Google to compare the images will expose the true identity of the property you are thinking about. We didn’t bother going that far. There was plenty of info on the BookVIP site to help us feel comfy with making our booking.

What we enjoy about reserving with BookVIP? You are on your own schedule. No sales calls, no pressure. When you have done your research and you are prepared, book. You will understand what you are getting. If the dates you desire to take a trip are available, you know ahead of time. There is time to compare the features and restaurants. This is a huge contrast to the marketing trip package sales calls I will talk about in the next area.

When you are ready to make your booking with BookVIP, simply be prepared for a couple of extra resort charges and taxes. In our case, part of the additional charge was to cover ideas for the resort personnel.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Bookvip Lake Tahoe
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the very best. If this had actually been our first experience, we most likely would not have taken part in another advertising offer. It was that bad.

Are you on the calling lists? After our very first promotional resort stay, we began getting telephone call using holiday plans to various destinations. That is how we wound up with a vacation package including our latest Cancun all inclusive plus a couple brief remain in Florida and somewhere else.

These travel sales calls are constantly a high-pressure circumstance unless you just hang up. Say no enough times and they will keep dropping the rate to where it really sounds like a good deal. It is required that you do so prior to the end of the phone call if they record your interest and you decide to acquire. There isn’t much time to look into the trip homes they are offering. You might have a couple of seconds to quickly pull up some pictures but that is about it. A photo deserves a thousand words, however not worth nearly as much as being able to check out a few reviews.

They drew us in with a stay in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the distance to Belize) and a long time in Florida (hi, sailboat shopping!). So we pulled the trigger and bought a package. However utilizing it, that is a whole different story.

Premier Travel Resorts does not make it simple to in fact utilize the getaway time. There is a lot of small print that makes travel preparation really difficult and potentially a lot more costly. They don’t reveal these information during the sales call.

THIS IS WHAT YOU OUGHT TO BE PREPARED FOR …
You can only reserve book dates 45-90 days ahead of time if YOU BUY A VACATION PACKAGE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS. Okay, fair enough.

Nevertheless, when you call to request for your preferred dates, they require you to fill out a long type requiring all the information that they currently have. You then have to wait about a week to see if your dates are even offered. Unless your travel plans will just consist of your remain at their resort, this makes planning the rest of your travel really inconvenient.

Preparation budget-friendly flights, or offered Airbnb remains in conjunction with your Premier Travel Resorts trip package is extremely hard. In our case, the Airbnb we wanted to stay at after our remain at the resort was booked by the time Premier Travel Resorts returned to us.

Our package consisted of a stay in Orlando and a stay in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts requires that those stays be back to back or 30 days apart. So, in our case, using them on either end of a company journey we had prepared was not allowed.

We used the Cancun part of our getaway bundle, but we won’t be utilizing the rest of it.

THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
The room was unclean, the toilet was broken, the lights flickered, and that is simply the beginning. You see, they put us up, not in one of the luxury properties that they wanted to offer us on, but rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the people at the good residential or commercial property informed us they called it. Genuine.

The one restaurant that was consisted of in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you ignore the air conditioner leaking into our food) was in fact a good experience. They changed up the menu every night, featuring foods from different parts of Mexico. And very willing to assist us with our Spanish.

Once over the shock of the distinction in the kind of place we believed we would be staying, we made the most of it. And picked up our rental car a couple days early to go off and check out the location.

THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts require that you participate in a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their reduced prices. No biggie. We feel like that deserves it.

Premier Travel Resorts, however, needs that you attend a marketing discussion throughout each stay. This is different from what we were informed when they sold us the bundle.

OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY TIRADE
