We are bargain hunters. Spend less, travel more … right?!Bookvip St Petersburg Florida… If you like to make your holiday travel dollar stretch, then like us, you might find yourself considering a vacation plan marketing offer. You ought to be prepared. Know that these advertising holiday bundle business are not at all equivalent.
After the pulled down of our recent stay at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I simply left the phone from attempting to schedule the remainder of our vacation bundle with them (some time in Florida). Let’s simply state that will not be occurring. We are simply going to forget and consume the expense about it.
From here on out, we will be booking vacation bundles through BookVIP. If you click over to their website, you will see that it is complete of the most affordable getaway bundles to some of the most popular destinations.
Our very first ever all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was remarkable. Possibly the Dreams ruined us.
One quick note … We have only used BookVIP one time, at one high-end resort in Cancun. Reasoning tells me that not every resort getaway package is going to provide a similar experience. It actually is all going to come down to the research you put in.
Is booking Very Important Person a timeshare?
Researching the properties provided on BookVIP can be a little a challenge. They don’t market the actual name of the resorts. Instead, they utilize phony names. However if you really want to sleuth out the place you will be staying a little investigative deal with Google to compare the photos will reveal the true identity of the home you are thinking about. We didn’t trouble going that far. There was a lot of info on the BookVIP site to assist us feel comfortable with making our booking.
You know ahead of time if the dates you desire to travel are readily available. There is time to compare the dining establishments and amenities. This is a huge contrast to the advertising holiday bundle sales calls I will talk about in the next area.
When you are ready to make your booking with BookVIP, just be prepared for a few extra resort charges and taxes. In our case, part of the extra charge was to cover pointers for the resort staff.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Bookvip St Petersburg Florida
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the very best. We really likely would not have actually gotten involved in another promotional offer if this had actually been our very first experience. It was that bad.
Are you on the calling lists? After our first advertising resort stay, we began getting call using getaway packages to various destinations. That is how we wound up with a trip plan including our latest Cancun all inclusive plus a couple short remain in Florida and elsewhere.
These travel sales calls are constantly a high-pressure scenario unless you simply hang up. Say no adequate times and they will keep dropping the rate to where it in fact sounds like a great deal. There isn’t much time to look into the vacation homes they are offering.
They drew us in with a stay in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the distance to Belize) and some time in Florida (hey there, sailboat shopping!). We pulled the trigger and bought a bundle. Utilizing it, that is a whole various story.
Premier Travel Resorts does not make it simple to actually use the trip time. There is a lot of small print that makes travel planning very tough and potentially a lot more expensive. They do not reveal these details during the sales call.
IF YOU BUY A TRIP PACKAGE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS, THIS IS WHAT YOU MUST BE PREPARED FOR …
You can only reserve your dates 45-90 days ahead of time. Okay, fair enough.
When you call to ask for your preferred dates, they require you to fill out a long type needing all the information that they already have. You then have to wait about a week to see if your dates are even readily available. Unless your travel plans will just include your remain at their resort, this makes planning the rest of your travel really troublesome.
Planning budget-friendly flights, or available Airbnb remains in combination with your Premier Travel Resorts getaway bundle is extremely challenging. In our case, the Airbnb we wanted to stay at after our stay at the resort was reserved by the time Premier Travel Resorts got back to us.
Our bundle consisted of a remain in Orlando and a stay in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts requires that those stays be back to back or 1 month apart. So, in our case, utilizing them on either end of a service trip we had actually prepared was not enabled.
We used the Cancun portion of our trip plan, but we will not be utilizing the rest of it.
THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
You see, they put us up, not in one of the luxury homes that they desired to offer us on, but rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the men at the great home informed us they called it.
Now, to be fair, Laguna Suites wasn’t all bad. The one restaurant that was included in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you neglect the air conditioning system leaking into our food) was actually a good experience. They changed up the menu every night, featuring foods from different parts of Mexico. And the personnel was fantastic. Really friendly and accommodating. And really ready to assist us with our Spanish.
Once over the shock of the distinction in the sort of location we believed we would be remaining, we made the most of it. We met some great individuals. Consumed some terrific food. Took some nice strolls on the golf course. And picked up our rental vehicle a couple days early to go off and explore the location.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts require that you attend a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their reduced prices. No biggie. We seem like that is worth it.
Premier Travel Resorts, however, needs that you go to an advertising discussion throughout each stay. This is different from what we were informed when they sold us the package.
OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY RANT
