Bookvip Vacation Package – Review 2022-3

Invest less, take a trip more … right?! If you like to make your holiday travel dollar stretch, then like us, you might find yourself thinking about a getaway plan marketing offer. Know that these promotional trip plan companies are not at all equal.

After the let down of our recent stay at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I just left the phone from attempting to book the remainder of our vacation package with them (some time in Florida). Let’s simply state that will not be occurring. We are just going to forget and consume the expense about it.

From here on out, we will be reserving trip bundles through BookVIP. If you click over to their site, you will see that it is full of the cheapest trip bundles to some of the most popular locations.

Our very first ever all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was incredible. Possibly the Dreams ruined us.

One fast note … We have actually just utilized BookVIP one time, at one luxury resort in Cancun. Logic informs me that not every resort getaway package is going to provide a similar experience. It really is all going to come down to the research you put in.

They do not advertise the real name of the resorts. If you actually want to sleuth out the place you will be staying a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the photos will reveal the real identity of the home you are thinking about. There was plenty of info on the BookVIP site to assist us feel comfy with making our booking.

What we like about scheduling with BookVIP? You are on your own schedule. No sales calls, no pressure. When you have done your research and you are all set, reserve. You will know what you are getting. You understand ahead of time if the dates you wish to take a trip are available. There is time to compare the restaurants and features. This is a big contrast to the advertising getaway bundle sales calls I will speak about in the next section.

When you are ready to make your booking with BookVIP, just be prepared for a couple of extra resort charges and taxes. In our case, part of the additional charge was to cover tips for the resort personnel.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Bookvip Vacation Package
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the best. If this had actually been our very first experience, we likely would not have taken part in another promotional offer. It was that bad.

Are you on the calling lists? After our first advertising resort stay, we began getting call offering trip packages to various locations. That is how we wound up with a trip package including our most recent Cancun all inclusive plus a couple brief stays in Florida and in other places.

These travel sales calls are constantly a high-pressure situation unless you simply hang up. Say no adequate times and they will keep dropping the price to where it actually sounds like a good deal. There isn’t much time to look into the holiday properties they are offering.

They drew us in with a remain in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the distance to Belize) and a long time in Florida (hey there, sailboat shopping!). So we pulled the trigger and purchased a package. Using it, that is a whole various story.

Premier Travel Resorts does not make it easy to actually use the vacation time. There is a great deal of fine print that makes travel planning really hard and potentially a lot more expensive. They do not expose these information during the sales call.

IF YOU PURCHASE A TRIP PLAN WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS, THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO BE PREPARED FOR …
You can only schedule your dates 45-90 days ahead of time. Okay, reasonable enough.

However, when you contact us to ask for your preferred dates, they require you to submit a long kind requiring all the information that they already have. You then have to wait about a week to see if your dates are even offered. Unless your travel plans will just include your stay at their resort, this makes planning the rest of your travel extremely inconvenient.

Planning cost effective flights, or offered Airbnb remains in conjunction with your Premier Travel Resorts getaway plan is really difficult. In our case, the Airbnb we wished to remain at after our stay at the resort was reserved by the time Premier Travel Resorts returned to us.

Our plan consisted of a stay in Orlando and a remain in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts needs that those stays be back to back or thirty days apart. In our case, using them on either end of an organization trip we had actually planned was not allowed.

We utilized the Cancun part of our getaway plan, however we won’t be using the rest of it.

THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
The room was filthy, the toilet was cracked, the lights flickered, which is just the beginning. You see, they put us up, not in one of the high-end residential or commercial properties that they wanted to offer us on, but rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the people at the good property told us they called it. Genuine.

Now, to be fair, Laguna Suites wasn’t all bad. The one dining establishment that was included in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you neglect the ac system leaking into our food) was in fact a good experience. They changed up the menu every night, featuring foods from various parts of Mexico. And the personnel was incredible. Really friendly and accommodating. And really willing to help us with our Spanish.

As soon as over the shock of the distinction in the kind of location we thought we would be staying, we made the many of it. And chose up our rental cars and truck a couple days early to go off and check out the area.

THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts need that you attend a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their reduced prices. No biggie. We feel like that is worth it.

Premier Travel Resorts, however, needs that you attend an advertising presentation throughout each stay. This is various from what we were informed when they sold us the bundle. A two-hour sales pitch when you are staying someplace for just two nights is a huge chunk of time. They offered us 4 various stays, that implies as much as eight hours of moderately high-pressure sales! No thanks.

OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY TIRADE
