Savings Bookvip Plus – Review 2022-3

We are bargain hunters. Invest less, travel more … right?!Savings Bookvip Plus… If you like to make your holiday travel dollar stretch, then like us, you might find yourself thinking about a getaway plan promotional deal. You should be prepared. Know that these promotional vacation plan companies are not at all equal.

After the pulled down of our current stay at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I just got off the phone from attempting to reserve the remainder of our vacation package with them (some time in Florida). Let’s simply say that will not be taking place. We are just going to forget and eat the expense about it.

From here on out, we will be scheduling getaway bundles through BookVIP. Here’s why …

Undoubtedly, you’ve seen the Facebook sponsored posts. You will see that it is complete of the most affordable getaway packages to some of the most popular destinations if you click over to their website. They have some seriously elegant looking stays all over the world at some insane great prices.

Our first ever all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was remarkable. Maybe the Dreams ruined us.

One quick note … We have actually just used BookVIP one time, at one luxury resort in Cancun. Logic informs me that not every resort holiday bundle is going to provide a similar experience. It truly is all going to come down to the research you put in.

Investigating the properties used on BookVIP can be a little bit of a difficulty. They do not promote the actual name of the resorts. Rather, they use phony names. But if you truly wish to sleuth out the location you will be staying a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the photos will reveal the true identity of the residential or commercial property you are thinking about. We didn’t bother going that far. There was a lot of details on the BookVIP website to assist us feel comfy with making our booking.

What we like about scheduling with BookVIP? You are on your own schedule. No sales calls, no pressure. Book when you have done your research and you are ready. You will understand what you are getting. You know ahead of time if the dates you wish to travel are available. There is time to compare the dining establishments and amenities. This is a huge contrast to the advertising getaway plan sales calls I will speak about in the next area.

Just be prepared for a couple of extra resort charges and taxes when you are ready to make your appointment with BookVIP. Our $599 for 5 days/4 nights at a Cancun all inclusive expense around $720 after whatever was said and done. In our case, part of the surcharge was to cover suggestions for the resort personnel. After the experience we had, we discovered this to be well worth it.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Savings Bookvip Plus
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the best. We very likely would not have participated in another marketing offer if this had actually been our very first experience. It was that bad.

Are you on the calling lists? After our first advertising resort stay, we started getting phone calls offering vacation bundles to various destinations. That is how we wound up with a vacation package including our latest Cancun all inclusive plus a couple short remain in Florida and elsewhere.

These travel sales calls are constantly a high-pressure situation unless you simply hang up. State no sufficient times and they will keep dropping the price to where it really sounds like an excellent offer. There isn’t much time to research the getaway residential or commercial properties they are providing.

They drew us in with a stay in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the proximity to Belize) and a long time in Florida (hello, sailboat shopping!). So we pulled the trigger and purchased a plan. Utilizing it, that is a whole different story.

Premier Travel Resorts does not make it simple to really utilize the getaway time. There is a lot of fine print that makes travel planning extremely difficult and possibly a lot more costly. They don’t reveal these details throughout the sales call.

IF YOU BUY A HOLIDAY PACKAGE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS, THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR …
You can just reserve your dates 45-90 days ahead of time. Okay, fair enough.

When you call to ask for your preferred dates, they need you to fill out a long form requiring all the information that they currently have. You then need to wait about a week to see if your dates are even offered. Unless your travel plans will only include your remain at their resort, this makes planning the rest of your travel extremely troublesome.

Preparation budget friendly flights, or readily available Airbnb stays in combination with your Premier Travel Resorts getaway package is very hard. In our case, the Airbnb we wished to stay at after our remain at the resort was reserved by the time Premier Travel Resorts got back to us.

Our package consisted of a stay in Orlando and a stay in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts requires that those stays be back to back or thirty days apart. So, in our case, using them on either end of a company trip we had prepared was not allowed.

We utilized the Cancun portion of our trip bundle, but we won’t be using the rest of it.

THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
You see, they put us up, not in one of the high-end properties that they desired to offer us on, however rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the men at the great home informed us they called it.

Now, to be reasonable, Laguna Suites wasn’t all bad. The one restaurant that was consisted of in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you ignore the a/c dripping into our food) was actually a great experience. They changed up the menu every night, featuring foods from different parts of Mexico. And the personnel was incredible. Very friendly and accommodating. And really going to assist us with our Spanish.

Once over the shock of the distinction in the kind of place we believed we would be staying, we maximized it. We satisfied some good people. Ate some excellent food. Took some great strolls on the golf course. And picked up our rental car a couple days early to go off and check out the area.

THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts need that you attend a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their reduced rates. No biggie. We feel like that is worth it.

Premier Travel Resorts, however, requires that you attend a marketing presentation during each stay. When they sold us the package, this is different from what we were told. When you are staying someplace for only two nights is a big portion of time, a two-hour sales pitch. They offered us 4 various stays, that indicates up to eight hours of reasonably high-pressure sales! No thanks.

OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY RANT
