Tahiti Village Bookvip – Review 2022-3

We are deal hunters. Spend less, take a trip more … right?!Tahiti Village Bookvip… If you like to make your getaway travel dollar stretch, then like us, you may find yourself considering a holiday package advertising offer. You should be prepared. Know that these advertising vacation plan companies are not equivalent.

After the pulled down of our recent stay at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I simply left the phone from attempting to schedule the rest of our holiday plan with them (some time in Florida). Let’s just state that will not be taking place. We are just going to forget and consume the expense about it.

From here on out, we will be booking trip packages through BookVIP. Here’s why …

Definitely, you have actually seen the Facebook sponsored posts. If you click over to their website, you will see that it is full of the cheapest holiday packages to a few of the most popular destinations. They have some seriously elegant looking stays all over the world at some insane good prices.

Our first ever all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was amazing. Maybe the Dreams spoiled us.

One quick note … We have actually just used BookVIP one time, at one high-end resort in Cancun. Logic informs me that not every resort getaway plan is going to supply a similar experience. It actually is all going to come down to the research study you put in.

Investigating the homes used on BookVIP can be a little a difficulty. They do not advertise the actual name of the resorts. Instead, they utilize fake names. If you actually want to sleuth out the location you will be remaining a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the images will reveal the true identity of the home you are considering. We didn’t bother going that far. There was plenty of information on the BookVIP site to help us feel comfortable with making our reservation.

What we like about reserving with BookVIP? You are on your own schedule. No sales calls, no pressure. Book when you have done your research and you are ready. You will know what you are getting. If the dates you desire to take a trip are available, you know ahead of time. There is time to compare the features and restaurants. This is a huge contrast to the marketing holiday plan sales calls I will speak about in the next section.

When you are ready to make your reservation with BookVIP, simply be prepared for a few additional resort charges and taxes. In our case, part of the extra charge was to cover pointers for the resort staff.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Tahiti Village Bookvip
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the best. If this had actually been our first experience, we most likely would not have actually participated in another advertising deal. It was that bad.

Are you on the calling lists? After our very first advertising resort stay, we began getting telephone call offering trip bundles to numerous destinations. That is how we wound up with a trip bundle including our newest Cancun all inclusive plus a couple brief remain in Florida and elsewhere.

These travel sales calls are always a high-pressure situation unless you just hang up. Say no sufficient times and they will keep dropping the rate to where it in fact sounds like a good deal. If they catch your interest and you choose to purchase, it is required that you do so prior to the end of the telephone call. There isn’t much time to investigate the getaway residential or commercial properties they are providing. You may have a few seconds to rapidly pull up some images but that is about it. A picture is worth a thousand words, however not worth nearly as much as having the ability to check out a couple of reviews.

They drew us in with a remain in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the proximity to Belize) and a long time in Florida (hey there, sailboat shopping!). So we shot and bought a bundle. Using it, that is a whole different story.

Premier Travel Resorts does not make it simple to really utilize the vacation time. There is a lot of small print that makes travel planning very hard and potentially a lot more pricey. They don’t reveal these details during the sales call.

IF YOU ACQUIRE A HOLIDAY PACKAGE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS, THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO BE PREPARED FOR …
You can only schedule your dates 45-90 days ahead of time. Okay, fair enough.

When you call to ask for your favored dates, they require you to fill out a long type needing all the information that they already have. You then have to wait about a week to see if your dates are even available. Unless your itinerary will just include your remain at their resort, this makes preparing the rest of your travel very bothersome.

Planning affordable flights, or available Airbnb stays in combination with your Premier Travel Resorts vacation bundle is really challenging. In our case, the Airbnb we wished to stay at after our remain at the resort was reserved by the time Premier Travel Resorts got back to us.

Our bundle consisted of a stay in Orlando and a remain in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts requires that those stays be back to back or 1 month apart. In our case, utilizing them on either end of a business trip we had planned was not enabled.

We utilized the Cancun portion of our vacation bundle, however we won’t be using the rest of it.

THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
The room was dirty, the toilet was chipped, the lights flickered, and that is just the start. You see, they put us up, not in one of the high-end homes that they wanted to offer us on, but rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the people at the great residential or commercial property told us they called it. For real.

The one restaurant that was included in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you overlook the air conditioner leaking into our food) was in fact a great experience. They altered up the menu every night, including foods from different parts of Mexico. And very ready to help us with our Spanish.

Twice the shock of the distinction in the type of location we believed we would be staying, we took advantage of it. We fulfilled some nice individuals. Ate some great food. Took some nice walks on the golf course. And got our rental cars and truck a couple days early to go off and check out the area.

THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts need that you go to a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their discounted rates. No biggie. We seem like that is worth it.

Premier Travel Resorts, nevertheless, needs that you participate in a marketing discussion during each stay. When they offered us the bundle, this is various from what we were told. A two-hour sales pitch when you are remaining somewhere for just 2 nights is a big piece of time. They offered us four various stays, that means approximately eight hours of reasonably high-pressure sales! No thanks.

OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY RANT
